Working on a live legacy portal built on Drupal 7 (PHP) and supporting
the development of a new application using Java Spring Boot Services.
I handle the existing Drupal 7 application almost end-to-end – from interacting
with clients to understand production issues, to analyzing and fixing them directly
on the server.
I have documented the application by understanding the complete flow, database
mappings, queries, and business logic. I maintain indexed lists of recurring issues
and queries, improve stability, and support smoother transition to the new Java-based
system by reusing and mapping existing business logic and data. I also work with
MS SQL Server for querying, debugging and supporting the live system.
Worked on a US-based IoT cloud platform, building and maintaining backend services
using Java 8+, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JSP and MySQL. Developed and optimized
REST APIs, implemented IoT protocols, and contributed to multiple modules of the
application.
Used tools like Eclipse, Postman, Git and Jira for development, testing and issue
tracking. Collaborated with cross-functional teams to design and develop scalable features
that improved system performance and reliability, while following Agile methodologies
throughout the project lifecycle.
